Meet Market
We were lucky enough to be asked to help out with an enterprising workshop for entrepreneurial young people aiming to set up micro businesses within a seven day period.
Working alongside a team comprised of @tomtobia, @joesmithdesign, @KatieHDesign and @ChrisJarratt, we helped to shape brands for three exciting start up companies as part of the Meet Market pilot scheme which aims to connect young people to society on commercial and professional levels. Businesses are formed by creative individuals initially found on Twitter, and are helped to be realised within a week, from initial ideas, through to occupying a stall at Greenwich Market this coming weekend.
Over the course of the week, the young people involved, work through their ideas with different professionals; sharing ideas, gaining advice and guidance and helping to realise their ideas. Our role was to talk, brainstorm and then create actual realised brands and printed collateral for use on the stands at Greenwich.
It was a really great way to be involved, working incredibly quickly to help formulate designs and outputs – a mutually beneficial experience.
