Great Lines Heritage Park, Chatham

The Great Lines Heritage Park at Chatham has undergone recent landscape restoration and improvement works, and our clients Medway Council and HTA Landscape Design commissioned us to produce an extensive strategy and wayfinding response to this large open space.

The historical and military significance of the park influenced our choices in terms of materials, form and placement of a range of signs, from extensive mapping of previously unrecorded spaces, to historical information and interpretation points. We worked alongside the landscape designers to ensure a cohesive materiality and brand was retained across the site.
